Did you know that the container search in NW2 has the lowest passing rate among all search elements?

Don’t let it catch you off guard—get ahead by training specifically for distractors. This prep class will guide you through what to expect, how to train for distractors, and provide practical tips and strategies to help you confidently tackle the container search and improve your confidence to make the correct call. Come train in a new and novel environment. 

Prerequisite:  Minimum NW1 title

Additional info: Some of the exercises may require dogs to rotate between two stations that are on opposite sides of the room and separated by barriers. Dogs must be crated or in your car when not working.

Video/Audio Policy: Videoing your own dog working is for your personal use only and may not be posted on a public website or social media. You may not video or audio tape any other working teams, Q/A Sessions, or Lectures/Presentations.

This prep class is more than a Sniff n’ Go! You'll work on specially curated NW1-type hides designed to highlight the odor puzzles you may encounter in Containers and Interiors. You will receive instruction, strategies and tips to better prepare your team for NW1. Come train in a new and novel environment.
