Arriving at the building:
Our new address is 2250 McKinnon Ave, San Francisco. We suggest arriving 10-15 minutes before your appointment time.
Please check your class details carefully to see whether your class is on the Main Field or the Small Field so you know which entrance to use.
Entering the building:
Please yield to the class before leaving. DO NOT approach or crowd the entry door until the prior session has left the building.
Please enter first WITHOUT your dog to unload your belongings into the main crating room. And then get your dog.
If your class is on the Small Field, use the entrance on McKinnon Ave. Because the glass door automatically locks please keep the door propped open.
If your class is on the Main Field, use the entrance on Toland Place.
Street parking:
Designated GGDS parking (marked in bright green) is available directly outside the building along the perimeter on McKinnon Ave. and Toland Place. You can also park up to our rollup doors (3).
The commercial space on the corner directly across from us is vacant. Therefore, you can park there as well (marked in bright green). But please do NOT park in the other tenants’ spots (red X).
Inside the building:
Manage your dog at all times. Do NOT let your dog wander unattended. While walking a course, setting up equipment, or listening to your instructor, please crate or tether your dog.
Treats. Please do not use any food treats that crumble, shred, flake, or leave any residue on the floor or equipment.
No human food and drink is permitted on the artificial turf, except water.
There are two all gender restrooms in the building.
Crating. Our Main Crating Room will be shared between Main Field and Small Field class participants. Crating on the field is also allowed.
For Nose Work classes, you may crate from your car. Please be sure to lock your vehicle at all times and do NOT leave any valuables behind.
Elimination. If your dog eliminates (pees or poops) in the building, please alert GGDS staff onsite or by emailing info@ggdogsports.com. There is a clean up procedure posted by the front door where the cleaning supplies can be found. A damage fee will be assessed if your dog eliminates on the artificial turf or on the equipment. If you are a new student, please be aware that arousal and excitement may mean that your dog may need to eliminate (pee and poop) more frequently.
Dog potty areas:
Please potty your dog before entering. We’ve built two potty areas in the parking lot on Toland Place. One between the two rolling gates and another on the corner of the main entrance near McKinnon.
Please use the dog waste disposal bins provided INSIDE the facility. DO NOT allow your dog to pee on the building.
If you need to potty your dog during class please leave through the way you entered in.
Leaving the building:
Please wipe down the crate you have been using and/or clean up excess water. Take all your belongings with you!
Please exit through the same entrance you came in to help us keep traffic flow smooth and safe.
