Arriving at the building:
Our new address is 2250 McKinnon Ave, San Francisco. We suggest arriving 10-15 minutes before your appointment time.
For our soft opening week of 10/27 all students should enter through the glass door entrance on McKinnon Ave. Because the glass door automatically locks please keep the door propped open. If you arrive late for class and the glass door is locked please use the steel door entrance on Toland Place instead.
Entering the building:
Please enter first WITHOUT your dog to unload your belongings into the main crating room. And then get your dog.
Street parking:
Designated GGDS parking is available directly outside the building along the perimeter (as marked in bright green). There is parking on McKinnon Ave. as well.
Inside the building:
There are two all gender restrooms in the building.
Manage your dog at all times. Do not let your dog wander unattended. While walking a course, setting up equipment, or listening to your instructor, please crate or tether your dog.
Elimination. If your dog eliminates (pees or poops) in the building, please alert GGDS staff onsite or by emailing info@ggdogsports.com. There is a clean up procedure posted by the front door where the cleaning supplies can be found. A damage fee will be assessed if your dog eliminates on the artificial turf or on the equipment. If you are a new student, please be aware that arousal and excitement may mean that your dog may need to eliminate (pee and poop) more frequently.
Treats. Please do not use any food treats that crumble, shred, flake, or leave any residue on the floor or equipment.
No human food and drink is permitted on the artificial turf, except water.
Dog potty areas:
Please potty your dog before entering. We’ve built two potty areas in the parking lot on Toland Place. One between the two rolling gates and another on the corner of the main entrance near McKinnon.
Please use the dog waste disposal bins provided INSIDE the facility. DO NOT allow your dog to pee on the building.
If you need to potty your dog during class please leave through the Toland Place door.
Leaving the building:
Please wipe down the crate you have been using and/or clean up excess water. Take all your belongings with you!
Please exit the building through the Toland Place door - marked “EXIT”. This is different than how you entered the building to ensure a smooth flow of teams entering and exiting the facility.
