what is urban locating?

Urban Locating is a NASDA (North American Sport Dog Association) sport where dog searches for live rats, contained safely in specially made quarry boxes in an "urban setting".  This could be in a classroom, in a shopping complex or even in an office. Urban Locating trials are held through the NASDA which was formed to provide dogs of all breeds experience in scent games. Competing teams earn titles and championships, which showcase their abilities within hunt and search situations.
